Job summary
Are you a compassionate and motivated midwife looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking maternity team? West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 5 Preceptorship Midwives and Band 6 Midwives who are committed to delivering high-quality, woman-centred care to pregnant women and their families across our maternity services. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly and dedicated team, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings as part of an integrated midwifery role.
As a Midwife at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, you will provide care to women and families throughout the maternity journey, working across a variety of clinical settings including:
Antenatal services Intrapartum care Postnatal services Community midwifery services The successful candidate will maintain and develop skills across all aspects of midwifery practice, delivering safe, effective and compassionate care while supporting positive experiences and outcomes for women and their families.
For Band 6 applicants, it is anticipated that you will have experience and skills in the management of intrapartum care and the ability to support and adapt to changing models of practice.
