Delivering a high-quality, patient-centred ultrasound service across a range of examinations, with specialist expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK), Gynaecological/Pelvic, and General Ultrasound scanning procedures.

To independently perform, interpret, and report ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate diagnosis, excellent patient care, and compliance with professional, departmental, and regulatory standards

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Degree or Postgraduate Qualification in Medical Ultrasound. HCPC registration as a Radiographer or relevant healthcare professional with no restrictions to practice. Significant experience in:

MSK Ultrasound Gynaecology and Pelvic Ultrasound General Medical Ultrasound

Person Specification

Education/ Qualifications Essential

Degree or Postgraduate Qualification in Medical Ultrasound. HCPC registration as a Radiographer or relevant healthcare professional. CASE-accredited Ultrasound qualification (or equivalent).

Experience Essential

Significant experience in MSK Ultrasound; Gynaecology and Pelvic Ultrasound; General Medical Ultrasound Ability to work independently and issue diagnostic reports.

Desirable

Experience within NHS and independent healthcare settings. Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems. Experience in teaching or mentoring junior staff. Additional competencies in vascular, obstetric, or interventional ultrasound.

Knowledge/Skills Essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
