Student Sport Club Supervisor

Job Description: 50% - Provide home event coverage as needed (games, practices, tournaments, etc.). 20% - Enforce all policies and procedures. 20% - Ensure all necessary documents and processes are completed during practices/events (waivers, equipment, practices, events, etc.). 5% - Attend all mandatory staff training sessions and staff meetings. 5% - Respond to emergency situations.

Required Qualifications: • During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).

Position Overview: The Sport Club Supervisor is responsible for providing on-site oversight and support for Sport Club practices, competitions, and other on-campus events. This position helps ensure a safe, organized, and compliant environment by monitoring club activities, verifying participant documentation, and serving as a liaison between Sport Clubs and Recreation Services. The Sport Club Supervisor is also expected to attend meetings and trainings as required to support program operations and development.
