Coordinator
Position Description: Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Additionally, this position is not eligible for remote or hybrid opportunities. All work is required to be performed onsite at TTEP.
Major/Essential Functions: • Manage shuttle service operations and supervise shuttle personnel. • Maintain shuttle tracking application/system and analyze routes to ensure efficient operations are conducted. • Coordinates vehicle rental operations with requesting departments and prepare rental fee and fuel costs documentation for I.V. processing. • Maintain Vehicle Operating System for the El Paso campus to ensure driver eligibility. Verify all employees operating state vehicles are processed and approved by the Office of Risk Management. • Reconcile mileage logs and expense receipts to voyager system reports. Verify Voyager card transactions or other purchases and payments for vehicles assigned with voyager cards. Maintain card information and adjust daily limits to department needs and mandated limits. • Telephone support for Fleet Services and address functional email requests. • Remain current with all licensure, certifications, and mandatory compliance and training requirements for this position. • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.). • Personally, and consistently, demonstrate, display and act in accordance with Texas Tech Health El Paso’s Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution. • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, thorough knowledge of federal and state policies and procedures which related to work preformed. • Employee must possess good organizational and customer service skills to communicate effectively in person, by email or phone. • Able to work flexible schedule due to shuttle coverage or events. • Employee will need to have a valid driver's license and undergo a back ground check to be approved as a state vehicle driver. • Employee must be experienced in registering and licensing vehicles in Texas, supervisory experience, and workplace safety knowledge. • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Required Qualifications: • High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
