As a Patient Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported, listened to, and genuinely cared for.
Working closely with our friendly, multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will handle a varied, people focused role where your organisational and communication skills make a real difference every day.

Provide a warm, high-quality reception service, ensuring all front-desk tasks are handled smoothly and efficiently.
Assist the team in keeping track of our service quality to ensure we are always giving our patients the best care possible.
Prepare and send clinical referrals and letters from our doctors and nurses to the right hospital or specialist services without delay.
Help guide new patients through the registration process, making sure their details are correctly set up on our system.
Carefully process repeat prescription requests so patients receive their medication accurately and on time.
Help coordinate requests for medical records, reports, and documentation, ensuring patient privacy is respected at all times.
Attend Practice meetings to take and share clear notes with the team when needed.
Review scanned documents to ensure all digital paperwork is saved securely in the correct patient file.
Provide a reassuring presence as a chaperone during clinical examinations when requested by a patient or GP.
Assist with everyday office duties to keep our administration running smoothly behind the scenes.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Detailed knowledge of administration Office systems and procedures Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and EMIS Understanding of confidentiality regulations and protocols Calm, patient, and respectful when dealing with people who may be upset or anxious.
Desirable
Experience in minute taking and accurate recording of meetings.
Qualifications Essential
A good general standard of education, including GCSEs at grade C / 4 or above [or equivalent] in core subjects.
Skills Essential
