Job Description Summary Role is located at Morelia Repair Shop (MRS), 100% on-site. Accountable for the quality of own work. Reports solid line to MRS EHS Leader and dotted line to MRS Lean Leader. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities EHS role/responsibilities:
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area. • Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area. • Resolve issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. • Collaborate with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding. Lean role/responsibilities:
• -5S implementation and audit on work areas (Generator/ Turbine and Gas Repair areas) • -Support assist on Lean basic trainings (Standard Work/ 5S/ CT & TAKT TIME) • -Value Stream mapping current process for future key improvement areas • -Kaizen Workshop and lean Action Work Outs assist for coordination/planning & execution • -BIQ implementation support for Target Condition 1 run (Generator Gas) •
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field. • Experience in EHS and/or Lean Engineering. • Solid English language skills.
