About this role
Job Description Summary You will serve as the primary financial steward for a portfolio of AQCS projects, owning the integrity of financial data from cost tracking through audit readiness. Working directly with project teams, treasury, and external auditors, you will provide hands-on guidance to project controllers navigating complex financial terrain — combining technical depth with the influence to shape how financial decisions are made across the organization.
Job Description Key Responsibilities
• Own portfolio-level financial integrity — monitor, reconcile, and report on all cost and cash movements across the AQCS project portfolio on a monthly and ongoing basis, ensuring consistency across all financial records.
• Lead project financial reviews — drive the Project Management Review (PMR) process, including regular cost and cash conversations with project teams, identifying risks early and ensuring no financial surprises reach leadership.
• Manage foreign exchange exposure — develop a thorough understanding of foreign exchange (FX) dynamics affecting projects and conduct at least quarterly full reconciliations of all FX positions (cash inflows and outflows) in coordination with the treasury function.
• Advise on taxes, duties, and insurance — provide clear, practical guidance to project controllers on tax obligations, insurance requirements, and import/export duties, and model the impact on project cost and cash flow.
• Support claims and risk assessment — contribute to claim compilation efforts and financial risk evaluations, ensuring project teams have accurate and defensible financial data.
• Ensure audit readiness and internal controls — implement and maintain project-level internal controls in full compliance with GE Vernova standards, and support reviews conducted by Corporate Audit Services (CAS) or external auditors, including balance sheet reconciliation of project-related positions.
Who You Are You are a finance professional with a strong foundation in project-based financial management — someone who combines technical precision with the interpersonal skills to guide and influence cross-functional teams. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, fluent in the language of large capital projects, and committed to the kind of rigor that keeps complex portfolios on track.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Professional qualification: CA, ICWA or MBA from a recognized university would be preferred
• Proven experience in finance, with a background in project controlling preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage foreign exchange reconciliation and treasury coordination
• Experience supporting financial audits (internal or external) within a project-based environment
