PROPERTY MANAGER
Rendall & Rittner • Competitive • Home Based/South West ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be the trusted day-to-day lead for a mixed residential portfolio in and around Bournemouth, ensuring buildings are safe, well-run and great places to live. Home based with regular site visits, you’ll build strong relationships with residents, client freeholders and contractors, delivering a responsive, transparent service that balances people, property and budgets.
Backed by our specialist teams and modern systems, you’ll take ownership for compliance, maintenance planning and financial performance. You’ll spot issues early, communicate clearly and drive continual improvements that add value for customers and protect long-term asset health.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Most days you’ll be coordinating works and inspections, tracking actions in our systems, and communicating updates to residents and clients. You’ll manage contractors, review budgets and invoices, and keep compliance, health and safety and building safety requirements on track across your Bournemouth-area portfolio.

Residents and clients feel informed, listened to and confident in your stewardship.Properties remain fully compliant with health, safety and building safety standards.Service charge budgets are accurate, monitored and delivered with no surprises.Planned maintenance and remedial works are scheduled, quality-checked and on time.Issues are resolved swiftly, with root causes addressed and learnings shared.Accurate records, reports and meeting minutes are produced on time, every time. HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
Visiting sites across Bournemouth and nearby areas for inspections and follow-ups.Managing maintenance, compliance actions and building safety file updates.Preparing, monitoring and explaining service charge budgets and expenditure.Procuring and supervising contractors, issuing work orders and quality-checking outcomes.Hosting resident and client meetings, issuing clear minutes and action plans.Handling queries and complaints professionally, escalating risks promptly.
