About this role

We are seeking a Technical Service Workshop Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality service activities on products supplied by Vantive, ensuring reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities

Perform inspection, installation, servicing, and maintenance of products within the workshopProvide field service support when requiredAct as the Local Calibration CoordinatorBuild and maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal team membersEstablish and maintain strong relationships with customers and business contacts (where applicable)Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with established procedures and within the quality management system frameworkAccurately document and report all service activities to maintain up-to-date service recordsUndertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or ManagerComply with all Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements

Experience & Qualifications

ONC/HNC in Electronics or equivalent qualification preferred (ideally in medical instrumentation or electromechanics), though not essentialPrevious experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required Core Competencies

Self-disciplined and able to work independently, while contributing effectively as part of a teamStrong commitment to delivering high-quality serviceCustomer-focused mindsetHigh attention to detail in completing records and documentation accurately and on timeAdherence to Health & Safety policies at all timesCompliance with local quality management system requirements Computer Skills

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Technical Knowledge

Basic understanding of electronicsBasic knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection Technical Skills

Service and maintain hardware devices in line with defined KPIsCommunicate effectively with customers or patients by phone when requiredAccurately document all service activities
