The District is now taking applications for the following position: CTE Industrial or Agriculture - Mac-Hi The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of or be willing to obtain knowledge of content and be an effective leader in industrial areas including Drones, Mechanics, Welding, and Vinyl Design. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of instructional methodologies is effective with secondary students.
• Knowledge of student assessment techniques including curriculum-based assessment.
• Knowledge of classroom organization and student management techniques.
• Knowledge of planning and implementing instruction.
• Knowledge of Oregon's curriculum and common core standards and benchmarks.
• Demonstrated skills in providing equitable opportunities for success for all students.
• Ability to work in a cooperative, positive manner with students, staff, parents and community.
• Strong interest and background in content area preferred.
• Experience in using data driven instruction preferred.
• Experience with integrating technology in instruction preferred.
• Experience or training in Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) and/or Constructing Meaning preferred.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Possess a current Oregon Teaching License with appropriate secondary content area endorsement.
• Agriculture Science and Technology CTE Endorsement or Industrial Arts CTE Endorsement, or be able to receive/obtain the endorsement.
COMPENSATION: Position starts in fall of 2026. Current salary range is $48,288.00 - $89,058.00 (depending on level of experience and education). The Milton-Freewater School district offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package that includes:
