Job summary INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY Microbiology Biomedical Scientist/Trainee Biomedical Scientist - Infection Sciences Salary: Biomedical Scientist ( £28407 to 34581) Trainee Biomedical Scientist Band 5 Annex 21( 65% Year 1, 70% band 5 Year 2, 75% band 5 year 3) Based at the Cumberland Infirmary, Infection Sciences Department. Applications are invited from HCPC registered BMS's (or HCPC pending), or holders of IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science degree requiring completion of registration portfolio (Trainee BMS post) The Virology, Immunology and Microbiology departments that make up Infection Sciences are well equipped and are all ISO 15189 accredited. We use Telepath LIMS with ICE electronic requesting and reporting, and Q-Pulse quality management system.
