INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES

The Learning and Organisational Development function supports a wide range of learning and development opportunities to meet identified training and development needs and strategic OD interventions to improve organisational performance and effectiveness. Our focus is on ensuring the provision of high quality learning and development opportunities and people centric interventions to enable our staff to deliver outstanding patient care and maintain safe working practices.

The postholder will provide expert advice, guidance and support, directly to key organisational stakeholders at all levels in relation to strategic interventions and solutions on all Organisational Development components eg engagement, leadership & management, team development and supporting transformational and organisational change practice.

Main duties of the job

Provide, receive and communicate highly complex, sensitive or contentious information which may require obtaining agreement and or co-operation.

Implement a range of current Organisational Development Theories and Models to support cultural improvements and team performance. For example, leadership and management approaches, effective team working approaches, organisational change, service improvement techniques and tools.

Plan and deliver a range of complex OD activities that support strategic objectives. This could include NSS People Improvement Plans, Team Engagement activities, Leadership Development, Change Management and Service Improvement.

Demonstrate highly specialised knowledge to master's degree level or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience within Organisational Development (OD) practice Coaching qualification e.g. ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring

Knowledge and Experience Essential

Evidence of continual professional and/or managerial development Experience of diagnosing, designing and delivering a range of Organisational Development (OD) interventions to improve organisational effectiveness Experience of working with Leaders & Managers at all levels on solutions to significant change processes and other Service/Continuous Improvement issues Experience of working collaboratively with all staff groups and Multi-disciplinary Teams across boundaries to motivate, develop and deliver shared objectives Experience & up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging OD Strategies, theories and models with the ability to transpose into practice Experience of leading and managing teams Experience of managing people centric change
