Senior Staff Nurse, Band 6, Coronary Care, West Cumberland Hospital
We are seeking a highly motivated registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior staff Nurse, covering maternity leave for 12 months. We are an 8 bedded unit offering experience in Cardiology. We also run the NIV service for West Cumbria's patients.
We would like an individual who is committed to best practice and able to take charge of the team and general running of the ward. This would require relevant experience and good communication skills.

Main duties of the job
To take charge of the ward, being responsible for the cardiac monitoring in the central station.
Overseeing and supporting the more junior staff, delegating patients appropriately.
Liaising with other hospitals, staff and bed management to ensure safe patient transfers. Manging beds and patient admissions.
Escalating appropriate concerns concerns to management.
Taking part in ward audits.
Helping to arrange cover and management of sickness.

Registered Nurse adult with relevant experience in Coronary Care IT Skills. Mentorship
