QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing comprehensive knowledge of the systems design, purpose, functions, limitations, operation, performance, safety parameters and maintainability. Must have an extensive practical/empirical background in solid state theory, RF transmission techniques, and digital data transmission techniques. Major DutiesYou will provide technical oversight, management and direction to a highly diversified work-force.You will participate in scheduled shipboard assessment events such as C5RA, INSURV, TSRA and Readiness assessments.You will provide technical and engineering services in the performance, operation, maintenance and Depot level repair and modernization, system testing/certification, and Fleet Technical Support of assigned systems.You will resolve technical problems, usually consisting of multiple engineering disciplines including digital data transmission principles, radio transmission principles, mechanical, and electrical theories.You will provide immediate authoritative technical assistance /training to ships force personnel on urgent mission degrading casualties (CASREPS) or similar problems affecting the overall operability of systems and ships readiness.You will identify, analyze, and document deficiencies necessary to develop comprehensive repair plans in support of depot level work packages and ships systems lifecycle programs.You will monitor and coordinate resolution of all maintenance and engineering problems associated with assigned systems and sub-systems on ships.You will generate and review Technical Assist Visit Reports (TAVR) and operating the NAVSEA Fleet Technical Support (FTS) Database.
