Job SummaryYou will serve as a Contract Specialist within PAE Maritime Acquisition and Contracts.

QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional contract specialist developing and implementing recommendations and solutions to contract problems, risks, and outcomes in the pre-award and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process for the description of the requirement through contract delivery involving two or more of the following: Pre-award and post-award procedures; Contract Negotiation; Contract Administration; Contract Termination; or Contract Price/Cost Analysis. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for the full scope of contract analysis to include procurement of supplies, services, construction, research, and development.You will serve as a recognized authority to develop and implement recommendations and solution to contract problems, risks, and outcomes in pre-award and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process.You will acquire goods and services for the Government from commercial or noncommercial sources when and where they are needed, at the most reasonable price, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.You will perform contract analysis to include procurement of supplies, services, construction, research and development, and major systems using formal advertising or negotiation procedures.You will develop and implement recommendations and solutions to contract problems, risks, and outcomes in the pre and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process for the description of the requirement.You will be responsible for procurement systems or programs which require extensive analyses and continuing evaluation of potential approaches to establish comprehensive solutions, development of new concepts, theories, or programs.You will coordinate and liaison with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government employees, military members, consultants, and contractors in DoD, other government organizations, and industry.
