Job SummaryYou will serve as a PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (GENERAL) in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES & PLANNING BRANCH, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF, shop 31.

Major DutiesYou will be responsible for coordinating the packing and assembly of work documentation and materials to meet schedules, task breakdowns, material delivery deadlines and tracking inter/intra trade support for prefabrication.You will utilize the project task packing strategy to sort the information available in the database to develop task packages for execution of work.You will perform a review of the current schedule and determine the proper scope and timeline of work for an individual task package.You will determine what quality assurance and support documentation is necessary to complete the job and prepares/assembles them with the packageYou will coordinate and obtain work authorization prior to execution, including placement on the ship or test plan of the day as applicable
