Job SummaryYou will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (WATER SURVIVAL) in the AVIATION SURVIVAL TRAINING CENTER (ASTC) of NMOTC DET NSTI ASTC MIRAMAR CA.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience qualifying and maintaining diving qualifications. Experience with Navy Dive School or Equivalent Experience using an automated system (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to extract information. Experience assisting with clerical and administrative functions to support the needs of the organization. Major DutiesYou will perform duties as the Safety Diver for training device 9D6 operations.You will perform duties as the primary instructor, training assistant, safety swimmer, training device operator, instructor evaluator, and lifeguard.You will be assigned maintenance, safety or administrative duties pertaining to the classroom.
