Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/NETWORK) in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing direct managerial oversite of information technology projects to enhance the delivery of an organization's enterprise system. Major DutiesYou will serve as the Branch Manager in the Digital Engineering Department, Cyber Security and Software Engineering Division, Authorization and Assessment Branch.You will provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) process execution, IT systems security administration, sustainment, and maintenance oversight for complex combat and IT weapon systems.You will maintain absolute responsibility for branch IT program resources, budget execution, and mission alignment while adhering strictly to established command policies and procedures.You will establish complex security authorization boundaries and define Information Security Continuous Monitoring strategies to maintain valid Authorization to Operate.You will oversee network vulnerability assessments, cyber incident response, intrusion detection, cyber forensics, threat assessments, and malware analysis.You will have expert knowledge of computer systems architecture, network protocols, shipboard and commercial digital networks, and diverse operating systems.You will direct the end-to-end RMF life cycle authorization packages within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services.
