QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of concepts, principles, laws and regulations of management employee and labor relations; 2) Ability to plan, organize, and conduct research of complex legal problems in major areas of uncertainty within the Headquarters and field operating activities; 3) Skill in written and oral techniques to develop and deliver briefings, status reports and correspondence to managers. Major DutiesYou will prepare formal correspondence or e-mail on a range of disciplinary actions.You will advise and assist employees, managers and supervisors on grievance procedures and appropriate options for proper resolution of conflicts or problems.You will provide labor-relations support to assigned organizations.You will provide authoritative technical assistance to management on issues such as handling and resolution of adverse actions, grievances and appeals.
