Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Frigate FF(X) Program Office (PMS 410), in the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive Combatants (DPAE Combatants) component of Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Maritime of DPAE COMBATANTS.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band or GS-13 equivalent grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: directing the implementation and execution of program plans; identifying resource requirements; monitoring operations, engineering funds and hours distributions or expenditures etc. to ensure the efficient and timely design engineering support for a systems acquisition program. Major DutiesYou will have mastery of and skill in applying, the art and science of two or more specialty areas of an engineering discipline sufficient to perform key decision-making and policy-developing responsibilities in difficult assignments.You will have mastery knowledge and skill to plan, develop, evaluate, and execute short- and long-range programs; serve as an authoritative expert and consultant on broad programs, highly specialized fields, or industries.You will have expert skill in communicating effectively orally and in writing, including the preparation and proficient presentation of briefings and talks to high-ranking military and civilian (through Senior Executive Service) managers.You will have mastery knowledge and skill to formulate, evaluate, nurture, and promote the generation and exchange of new concepts, principles, methods, applications, practices, and processes.You will have knowledge of Department of Defense and Department of Navy budgetary and financial management systems, and Federal procurement practices.You will have the ability to supervise technical/administrative staff operations and manage programs.
