To qualify at the GS-11 level you must meet one of the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Assists in reviewing and evaluating documents to interpret violations of antiboycott, or restrictive trade practices and preparing written reports on findings regarding interstate and foreign commerce; and Coordinates with internal or external organizations to provide, acquire information and documents to pursue joint actions; and Gathers and evaluates investigative information to ensure findings were factually and legally sufficient; and Assists in providing guidance to companies, practitioners, and internal stakeholders on the interpretation and application of antiboycott regulations, or restrictive trade practices, policies, and precedents. OR PH.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M if related, OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
Major DutiesAs an Antiboycott Compliance Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Assists in conducting antiboycott investigations by supporting the identification and development of investigative leads; reviews legal and business information to help assess compliance with U.S. antiboycott regulations and identify potential issues. Participates in investigative activities involving persons and transactions of moderate complexity; gathers and organizes evidence and assists in evaluating information under the guidance of senior staff. Prepares draft case reports and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for review by higher-level specialists in support of administrative or civil enforcement actions. Assists in responding to inquiries on antiboycott regulations by providing general information to internal staff and external stakeholders; supports interpretation of regulatory requirements under supervision. Supports enforcement and case processing activities, including assisting with analysis of respondent information and contributing to materials prepared for Administrative Case Review Board (ACRB) review and settlement discussions.
