System Engineer Mechanical REQUIRED PROFILE Bachelor’s of Science BS or Master of Science MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-4 years of experience in the automotive industry in the field of Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related roles. Experience in: Possess base knowledge of car access, locksets, and immobilization technology. Possess knowledge of mechanical engineering, system engineering, and requirements Engineering. Proven experience utilizing IBM Rational DOORs or similar requirement management tools Knowledge of the following: Microsoft MS Project and milestone tracking, ISO-26262, Automotive SPICE processes, V-model development, DFMEA, DVPR, mechanics, and industrialization and design for mass production. Experience with fault detection and diagnostics strategies preferred. Knowledge of exterior door handle products is a strong desire. Being Familiar with 6 Sigma tools is a plus. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Create the system requirements and the system architectures. Analyze the customer product requirements and creates the compliance matrix, decide about the acceptance of customer product requirements. Prepare, manage, and decide on the relevance of Lessons Learned, Design Rules. Setup of reuse strategy of system requirements and system architecture, the definition of reuse elements system requirements and system architecture. Coordination of reuse system and domains. Define and maintain standardized sets of requirements and architectures for platform products. Contribute to the creation of the Feature Release Plan. Contribute to test case review, test readiness review, and Design Verification Plan. Initiate the impact analysis in case of design changes. Carry out the system integration. Contribute to the vehicle integration test. Contribute to the preparation of verification results.
