Located in Mesaieed, our manufacturing facility is among the most advanced Nexans plants in the Middle East and North Africa region. To support our growing Human Resources function, we are looking for a proactive and motivated HR Assistant to join our team. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR ROLE The HR Assistant provides administrative, operational, and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle. This role works closely with the HR Manager to support recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee engagement, learning and development, HR reporting, payroll inputs, and HRIS management, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. MAKING AN IMPACT You will support the HR department by: Coordinating recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding. Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation. Supporting payroll preparation through attendance, leave, and overtime administration. Managing employee data within HRIS systems while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Nexans reporting standards. Preparing monthly HR reports, dashboards, KPIs, and HR Data Factory submissions. Assisting employees with HR-related inquiries and HRIS support. Supporting learning and development initiatives, training coordination, and employee development plans. Organizing employee engagement activities and internal communication campaigns. Supporting policy implementation and ensuring compliance with Qatar Labour Law and company procedures. Assisting with audits, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB We are looking for someone who has: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline. 2–3 years of HR Generalist experience. Good understanding of Qatar Labour Law. Experience in recruitment, payroll administration, employee engagement, learning & development, and HR operations. Experience using HRIS or ERP systems. Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
