About this role
As a Rate Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient pricing processes that power our global operations. You’ll manage customer contracts, tariffs, and costing data across our systems, enabling seamless auto-rating and auto-costing and supporting our journey toward full digitalization. Your key responsibilities as a Rate Management Specialist : Ensure timely and accurate data-input of rates and costs Manage automated rate and costing processes, including integration with tools Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to understand customer needs and ensure correct and efficient rate implementation. Assess local impacts of global customer accounts Analyze rate and cost accuracy, identify optimization opportunities, and drive enhancements in automation and digitalization. Investigate and resolve system-related issues across rate management platforms, including CW1, RMS, Cargosphere, and other local tools. The Rate Management Specialist we're looking for has the following profile: Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Experience in Ocean Freight pricing or operations (minimum 2 years) Strong communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Fluent English and Dutch
