Job summary The Registered Manager role at Agincare's care home in Aylesbury is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to lead a team and shape the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. Main duties of the job As the Registered Manager, you will lead your team to deliver a safe, caring, responsive and effective service, ensuring the highest standards for each resident. Your key responsibilities will include championing person-centered care, reviewing and adapting care plans, monitoring and auditing service quality, managing risk assessments and safeguarding practices, recruiting and developing your team, and ensuring effective staffing levels and regulatory compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Championing choice, dignity and personcentred care for every resident Reviewing and adapting care plans in partnership with residents, families, staff and professionals Monitoring and auditing service quality and acting swiftly on areas of improvement Managing risk assessments and safeguarding practices to keep residents safe Recruiting, inducting, mentoring and developing your team Leading with confidence on HR matters, including performance and conduct Ensuring effective staffing levels and robust contingency planning Investigating safeguarding concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring full regulatory compliance, including duty of candourAbout you

Youll need:
At least 12 months remaining on your Right to Work in the UK QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) A management qualification (QCF level 4) or willingness to work towards it Previous registration in a residential service (preferable) Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, and care home operations Exceptional leadership, coaching, and peoplemanagement skills Experience supporting vulnerable adults Fulltime availability (42 hours per week)This is your opportunity to take ownership of a newly refurbished care home, shape the culture from the ground up, and build something truly exceptional for your residents, your team and your career.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
