Job Summary
We are thrilled to be recruiting motivated applicants for an exciting bank opportunity as a Childrens Safeguarding Nurse.
A successful Bank CSN Nurse will be an enthusiastic individual, forward thinking, committed to equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practices.
Operational Hours: 9am - 5pm
Working days: Monday - Friday
Expected length of the assignment: 2 Months

Main duties of the job
Be the childs advocate and hear their voice. Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and is required to demonstrate procedures, supervise unqualified and adaptation staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment. To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified.

Experience Essential
Sound IT skills, including email and office packages Detailed and thorough knowledge of current safeguarding legislation and guidelines. Knowledge of quality, standard setting and audit Demonstrable understanding of National and Local health strategies Evidence of experience in safeguarding practice Experience of working within an acute hospital setting with children, young people and their families Wards knowledge and general medicine knowledge
Qualifications Essential
NMC Registered in Paediatrics Band 6 RSCN
