*Job Summary*

Thank you for your interest in the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant or *Communication Disorder Assistant * position

days of work - monday, Tuesday Wednesday Saturday and Sunday.

This role supports the delivery of speech and language intervention services under the supervision of a *registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)*. CDA/SLPA work directly with children to implement individualized communication programs designed to strengthen speech, language, social communication, and early literacy skills. *Responsibilities*

* Implement speech and language therapy programs as designed and directed by the supervising SLP. * Complete accurate and timely *SOAP notes* following each therapy session, documenting client performance, progress toward goals, and clinical observations as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. * Work one-on-one with children to support communication goals. * Prepare, organize, and adapt therapy materials and resources as needed. * Support the development of speech, language, social communication, and play skills. * Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. * Ensure a safe, engaging, and positive therapy environment for all clients. * *Reports directly to a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).*

*Requirements*

* Completion of a *Communication Disorder Assistant (CDA)* diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in speech. * Experience working with children with speech, language, or communication needs is an asset. * Familiarity with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or other exceptionalities is preferred. * Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. * Clear verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to follow therapy plans accurately and work effectively under supervision * This position requires the employee to live within a reasonable commuting distance of the workplace

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
