About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Assess site and terrain before operations. Operate a variety of machines which perform a combination of slashing, bucking, chipping, sorting and loading logs or trees. Assist other logging workers. Remove debris from logging site landing area. Write daily basic progress reports. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
