Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Determine crew sizes. Determine equipment requirements. Determine logging operation methods. Recommend measures to improve work methods. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Establish work schedules. Oversee safety of operations. Prepare and submit reports. Train or arrange for training. Ensure adherence to government regulations. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
