About this role
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Conduct routine workplace safety and environmental inspections.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE records, registers, and documentation.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking.
• Coordinate HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Support emergency drills and safety awareness programmes.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and implementation of the Environmental Compliance Plan.
• Monitor HSE supplies, including PPE, first aid, and spill response equipment.
• Assist with HSE audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Prepare monthly HSE reports and other documentation as required.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications
• Associate degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• One (1)–Two (2) years' experience in health, safety, environmental, or a related role.
• Training in First Aid or Occupational Safety is an asset.
