Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to residents in the care home. This includes assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as helping with meals, medication administration, and light domestic tasks. You will also engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life. This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with shift patterns that include 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, or 8am-8pm, including alternate weekends.

Companionship - Providingsupport, companionship, communication and engagement Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower andsupporting the client with dressing and oral care. Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams. Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages. Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
You will need a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. No previous care experience is required, as Agincare provides comprehensive training to support your development.
