J unior Officer Trade Services - Transaction Banking Amsterdam (EN/NL) As Middle Officer Trade Services , you will support the Trade Services team in Amsterdam in executing trade transactions for Dutch, Nordic and Belgian customers. You will report to the Coordinator of the Netherlands & Belgium Trade Middle Office, fully based in Amsterdam. Tasks and responsibilities: - Support of the Trade Sales Team in executing Trade Finance transactions - Follow up on client requests and needs, and identify new opportunities - Close cooperation with Back Office teams in connection with monitoring/handling of client orders and other operational issues - Close cooperation with all teams within the global Trade Services Network, as well as with all supporting teams at other locations - Active cooperation with all other local business lines within the Amsterdam Branch - Managing administrative tasks in connection with Trade Services transactions (invoicing, internal & regulatory reporting etc.) - Create added value for clients pro-actively identifying synergies within the Global Transaction Banking Business Lines (like cash management or factoring) - Execute compliance checks before the transactions and obtain upfront compliance approvals before processing a trade transaction - Create or maintain RMA keys in order to manage the connected correspondent banks - Verify availability within credit facility before executing trade transactions - Participate in the permanent supervision activities of the trade services desk - Monitor validation of credit lines Complete fluency in Dutch and English is required for this role. The role requires a strong client service orientation, solid operational and process knowledge, familiarity with regulatory and risk frameworks, analytical and communication skills, and uncompromising professional integrity.
