About the function As an assistant hospitality manager in Haarlem, you support the manager in the daily operations of the company restaurant. You combine hospitality with operational tasks: from preparing meals for employees to stocking vending machines and assisting with banqueting for meetings and events. You jump in where necessary and take the lead when the manager is absent. You ensure that the location always looks neat and welcoming and assist in compiling menus and placing orders. The atmosphere is collegial; you work together with a small team that supports each other and where there's room for your ideas. The workdays are during the week, with at least one evening shift per week. The work is varied and requires flexibility, especially when there is an unexpected event or extra demand. As an assistant hospitality manager, you are fully involved in the operation and are also responsible for a portion of the administration.
