This role requires someone who understands the pace, terminology and compliance expectations of safety related operations. You will play a key role in embedding a strong safety culture across hard services and engineering delivery, ensuring compliance, consistency and continuous improvement. The Role - Lead health & safety strategy across the contracts - Ensure full compliance with EN ISO standards (45001) - Act as the subject matter expert for safety within a live operational retail environment - Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments across multiple sites - Support operational teams in safe delivery of services within regulated environments - Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions - Engage with client stakeholders, ensuring alignment with safety expectations and standards - Deliver training, toolbox talks and ongoing safety briefings - Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and reporting About You - Proven experience in a Safety Manager or senior HSEQ role within facilities management - Working knowledge of EN ISO 45001 and EN ISO 9001 systems and compliance - IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) - Confident communicator, able to influence operational teams and senior stakeholders - Proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-focused - Comfortable working across multiple sites in a fast-paced, operational setting Experience & Skills - Experience managing safety within high-footfall, public-facing enviro...
