The opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy's High Voltage Products Business Unit and help shape the future of electrical power systems. As part of the Technology Center North America, you will contribute to the development and optimization of metal-enclosed high voltage circuit breakers-critical components that ensure safe, reliable energy distribution across substations worldwide.
In this role, you'll collaborate with a highly skilled, cross-functional team driving innovation in electro-mechanical systems. You'll work on advanced R&D initiatives, tackle real-world engineering challenges, and support the delivery of leading-edge solutions that enable a more sustainable and resilient grid. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field3-5 years of experience in the electro-mechanical industry; high voltage experience preferredProficiency with CAD and 3D modeling tools (e.g., PTC Creo or similar)Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skillsAbility to collaborate across global, cross-functional teamsProactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities More about us
