The Opportunity
You will be part of Hitachi Energy's Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. We have global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus. Our Cleantech area with focus on renewable resources application is growing and the demand from the market is strong. Cooling Systems in Landskrona is a market-leading supplier with customers all over the world. Together with employees working with development and manufacturing in Landskrona and the growing market, we are now looking for a R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our growing development team.
Join our current development team consisting of seven engineers that have the responsibility for develop products ranging from HVDC applications to smaller Cleantech applications. The need for this expertise is increasing and we are therefore looking for both freshly graduated students and senior engineers to join our team.

How you'll make an impact
Leading the development of products for different applicationsCustomer contact, in this role you will have a close relationship with customersSupplier contact, finding components for the product and translating the customers' requirements to the supplierEnsuring high quality in bigger product volumesClose contact with the production department and other stakeholders, both internally and externally Your background
We are looking for you with an academic degree in Engineering or several years of experience within mechanical engineeringExperience in planning and willing to learn about our products and productionAs a person you like problem solving and finding new solutions, you have good communication skills and the wish to work in a dynamic and multicultural environmentYou are a curious person who challenges yourself and the organization for continuous development in both short and long termYou are analytical and have a strong drive to work structured and goal orientedExperience in testing and agile work is a plusSwedish and English is needed, both written and spoken, to be able to interact with both local and global stakeholders What we offer
