The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products has Secondary Engineering team for Gas Insulated Switchgear to produce Local Control Cubicles. The work involves mainly creating electrical circuit diagrams and supporting documents. CAE tool named E3 is used for generating the schematics. It would involve interaction with other departments like Primary, Project Management, and Production

Leading Secondary Engineering ProjectsHandover from Sales, Clarification of SpecificationFull Project Management Scope (Time, Cost, Scope Planning) for Sec Engineering Projects (LCC)Coordination with Commercial Project Manager (Time, Scope, Cost)Leading Engineering Activities with Extended Workbench (Base Design and Detail Design)Detection of Deviations and Claims •Customer Clarification and Customer MeetingsAchievement of Design Freeze and Customer ApprovalCreation of Production Documents with Extended WorkbenchSupport of Production in FFBG / CHPUFinal Acceptance Tests with CustomerSupport of Site Installation and CommissioningCreation of As-Built documents and Close-out of ProjectActive Participation in Project Reporting structure (Digital Project Board et al)Responsible for the technical and standard-compliant technical project handling and for the management or compliance with the project goals (dates, costs, material goals)Responsible for scheduling and technical coordination of activities in connection with upstream and downstream positionsResponsible for compliance with the applicable standards and regulations, in particular the ISO 9001 (QMS), 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Safety) standardsResponsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your Background:
Bachelor's in electrical & Electronics Engineering with overall experience of 12-14 yearsVery Good knowledge of CAE tools (Nice to have experience in e3, not mandatory)Very Good knowledge of Protection & Control Systems for T & D / GenFamiliarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc...Ability to work with multiple discipline projectsAbility to work in a team and maintain professionalismGood Communication and Interpersonal skillsShould possess strong leadership skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations Apply now Current employees apply here
