Job Description:
The Senior Tax Advisor will assist with management of the in-house global Transfer Pricing ("TP") function, including (but not limited to):
Participating in governance routines and reviewing data sources to ensure timely identification of new intercompany relationshipsDesign, implementation and ongoing maintenance of TP methodologiesLiaison with key internal stakeholdersPolicing and supervising all aspects of the Global TP PolicyAssist external vendor with coordination and smooth running of annual TP documentation processesDealing with external auditors, tax authority audit queries or regulatory investigations The candidate must be able to manage several projects at one time and engage with senior individuals in business and support functions. An energy to learn about the Company's businesses and manage tax risk effectively and efficiently are required, as well as, strong written and oral communication skills. Both an independent working bias and an ability to operate within cross-functional teams are also important.
Responsibilities:
Researches, analyses and interprets more complex tax laws and regulationsAssists in the development of complex transfer pricing methodologiesTracks the preparation of transfer pricing related tax compliance and reporting requirements prepared by othersIdentifies and implements process improvements Required Skills:
Working knowledge of OECD Guidelines and US Transfer Pricing RegulationsAnalytical and problem-solving mindsetAdvanced experience in law firm, accounting firm or financial services specialising in transfer pricingFinancial services experienceAble to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication skills. The role involves frequent communication with senior internal and external stakeholders. Desired Skills:
