About this role
The Food Services Fiscal Monitor plays an integral role in supporting the mission and goals of the Food Services Department. This position requires a well-rounded professional with the ability to oversee, manage, and document departmental finances, accounting procedures, and financial reporting, while providing consultation and support to ensure fiscal accountability and operational efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS: The Food Services Fiscal Monitor shall:
• Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of data processing experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license with no serious violations.
• Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrate integrity, good moral character, and initiative.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Possess knowledge of office and accounting functions, including payroll preparation, filing system design and maintenance, supply requisition generation, and the assignment and monitoring of clerical functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of electronic equipment and software for word processing, data management, and telecommunications.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrate exceptional computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Edumet is preferred.
