About this role
Qualifications:
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:9B-12.7.
• Valid New Jersey certification as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC), School Psychologist, School Social Worker, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement, or Teacher of the Handicapped.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching or related educational experience, in special education or as a member of the Child Study Team (CST).
• Demonstrated knowledge ofo child development of students with disabilities and special education laws and regulations (N.J.A.C. 6A:14).
• Experience and capacity to supervise and support Child Study Team members.
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies, classroom management, assessments, and diagnostic tools.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and initiative.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage students, staff, parents, and community members.
• Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and student data management systems.
