About this role
Student Academic Coach positions to support elementary, middle, and/or high school students enrolled in the ISD Virtual Academy. Advisors will:
- Monitor student progress on Edgenuity - Conduct weekly virtual check ins with the student - Maintain communications with the student and parent/guardian - Support students in completion of school work and finding supports where needed - Serve as a liaison between parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators - Be available for questions/tutoring within their content area - Provide virtual assistance to students with homework, projects, test preparation, research, and other academic tasks - Document sessions with the student at a convenient time for both the child and teacher
