Social Emotional Learning Interventionist Bernard Middle School 2026-2027 This position is paid with disproportionality grant funds for the 2026-2027 school year only. QUALIFICATIONS: Requires valid Missouri Teaching Certificate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Develops lesson plans using evidence-based academic and behavior interventions
• Utilizes interventions to support students in all areas of the curriculum
• Provides academic and behavioral supports to students in grades K-5 as identified by building leadership in conjunction with classroom teachers
• Uses a variety of high-yield instructional techniques materials appropriate for the age and skill level of students
• Supplements core instruction through a range of instructional practices including one-on-one instruction, small group instruction, and co-teaching as prescribed by building leadership in conjunction with classroom teachers
• Collects, monitors, and analyzes the growth of students being supported
• Documents and shares all student progress and use of instructional supports for students receiving support with classroom teachers
• Participates in grade level and building level meetings as requested
• Sets personalized academic and/or behavior goals with students receiving intervention
• Participates in professional development sessions
• Maintains confidentiality
• Other duties may be assigned
