This position works closely with the bus driver to supervise student behavior, assist with loading and unloading, and help ensure a positive and secure environment on the bus. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise students while boarding, riding, and exiting the school bus to ensure safety and appropriate behavior
• Assist students, including those with special needs, in safely entering and exiting the bus
• Ensure students are seated properly and follow established safety procedures
• Maintain order on the bus and report disciplinary concerns to appropriate school officials
• Communicate effectively with the bus driver regarding student needs or issues during routes
• Monitor and assist with the use of safety equipment, including seat belts and wheelchair restraints if applicable
• Provide support during emergency situations, including evacuations, following established protocols
• Maintain a respectful and supportive environment for all students
• Complete required reports and documentation as needed
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with children, preferably in a school or childcare setting Open Until Filled: Review of applications and interviews will begin as applications are received and selection of a candidate may occur at any time. This position is for a minimum of 5 hours per day and follows the student calendar. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
