About this role
TITLE: Kindergarten Teacher REPORTS TO: Principal SUPERVISES: N/A TERM: 10 months JOB GOAL: Work with students to help them learn concepts in subjects such as mathematics. Assist students in applying concepts they have learned. QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
• Bachelor Degree in Education,
• Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Description: Kindergarten Teacher
• Provide an instructional program that is differentiated.
• Create a secure classroom climate.
• Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly.
• Plan, develop, implement, and monitor with student success as your goal.
• Use available technology in your lessons.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students.
• Assist with others duties as assigned by the Principal
