About this role

Salary: £69,000 - 109,000 per year

Requirements: Commercial experience building, deploying, and supporting secure production systems.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.Knowledge of containers, orchestration, and cloud-native architectures.Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Comfortable working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.Experience with one or more of the following technologies is beneficial: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Packer, Vault, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Artifactory, Nexus Repository, serverless architectures.Industry certifications across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or DevOps tooling are welcomed but not essential. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms.Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.Build and operate shared platform services for deployment, monitoring, observability, and operational support.Create and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.Deploy, manage, and optimise solutions across AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments.Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and delivery teams to improve automation, security, and platform reliability.Monitor system health, performance, and availability while proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation.Contribute to DevOps best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering standards.Work within small, high-performing agile teams to enable the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient applications.
