Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: Experience leading multiple teams as a data solution architect, with ownership of a system of systemsExperience designing, building, and productionising modern data-intensive applications, including orchestration and operationsBroad knowledge of the full spectrum of data technologies, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, presentation, and consumptionStrategic design thinking experience, including problem conceptualisation, approach and roadmap definition, architecture realisation, and risk managementComfortable with traditional and contemporary data warehousing conceptsExperience deploying data-processing platforms from vendors such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or DatabricksComfortable in one or more of Java, Scala, or Python, with the ability to be hands-on when requiredDemonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop team members and the wider communityKnowledge of wider data architecture concepts such as Master Data Management, masking, data governance, provenance, and lineage is desirableExperience with technical evaluation and product selection is desirableComfortable with data integration techniques such as messaging, queuing, change data capture, or data virtualisation is desirable Responsibilities: Lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver contemporary data solutionsImplement functional and non-functional designs successfullyWork closely with ops and infrastructure architects to productionise robust, resilient, and maintainable data solutionsWork closely with customer architects to agree functional and non-functional designsAdvise, question, inform, and help customers make sound solution design decisionsDevelop policy and standards with peers, share knowledge, and mentor othersManage and estimate timelines underpinning solution deliveryOwn technical solution design as part of a pre-sales processMake a significant contribution to the data community and wider data capabilityManage, coach, and develop a small number of staff, including employee performance and career developmentProvide direction for the team while solving problems together Technologies: AWSArchitectAzureDatabricksGCPJavaPythonScalaCloudSupport More:
