Salary: £45,000 - 54,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for someone with experience working on production cloud platforms and collaborating within an engineering team.Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling.Experience with Helm and containerised applications.Experience with monitoring and observability tools.Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues.Experience working with Git as part of a collaborative development process.Experience with Linux, Bash or Python scripting, Amazon EKS, MySQL, disaster recovery, or security-focused environments is advantageous.AWS or Kubernetes certifications are welcomed, but practical experience is valued more highly than formal qualifications. Responsibilities: Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.Operate and improve production Kubernetes environments.Support platform reliability, performance, and security.Investigate production issues and carry out structured root cause analysis.Deliver infrastructure projects from design through to implementation.Work closely with software engineers to support new features and platform improvements.Contribute to the ongoing modernisation of an established cloud platform.Participate in an on-call rota alongside the wider infrastructure team.
