Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for an experienced enterprise or domain architect with deep IIoT and OT/IT convergence expertise, comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels.We need proven experience in enterprise or domain architecture roles within complex industrial or operational environments.We need deep understanding of OT and IIoT systems including SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, telemetry systems and data historians.We need experience with edge-to-cloud architectures, edge computing and edge analytics.We need knowledge of industrial protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus and DNP3.We need understanding of connectivity technologies including LoRaWAN, NB-IoT and 5G.We need experience aligning architecture to NIS regulations, NCSC CAF, IEC 62443 and ISO 27001.We need a strong grasp of data platform architecture, integration patterns, standardisation and contextualisation.We need the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, meaningful insight for senior decision-makers. Responsibilities: We lead the convergence of OT and IT to shape a smarter, safer gas network.We define the target-state architecture for IIoT and ensure OT and IT work seamlessly together.We shape how data is generated, secured, integrated and exploited across the organisation.We work with senior leaders across the business to align technology investment, digital transformation and operational priorities.We define capability models, reference architectures and roadmaps across short, medium and long-term horizons.We lead architectural thinking across edge computing, IIoT platforms, cloud integration and data architecture.We embed cyber resilience and regulatory compliance into IIoT design, supporting Critical National Infrastructure requirements.We influence our Industry 4.0 and OT digitalisation journey by evaluating emerging technologies and setting future direction.We work closely with enterprise, domain and solution architects, while mentoring teams and building architectural capability.
