Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for strong Python backend development skills.Ruby experience would be useful, but it is not essential.We need a strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns.We expect comfort using AI tools such as Claude in your everyday workflow.We are looking for experience in a start-up or small business environment, with a desire to work on greenfield projects and take ownership.We need someone who is collaborative and has great communication skills.You should be happy to take part in technical discussions and decision-making.We are looking for a degree in a STEM discipline. Responsibilities: We design and develop greenfield, data-centric applications.We build systems that monitor Arctic ice flows and other data points for our clients.We work with organisations in government, defence, energy exploration, and conservation.We focus on Python backend services.We take ownership of projects end to end, from ideation through to production.We contribute to new features and applications throughout the development lifecycle.
