About the role:

Portfolio teams within Lifelong Learning are responsible for the strategic development, commercial viability, and continuous improvement of a defined product line or group of product lines within our portfolio. Acting as the voice of their customer audience, they ensure offerings are aligned with institutional priorities and market demand, leveraging Imperial’s unique and leading research expertise in STEM and business.

This role manages the micro-credentials portfolio, focusing on launching the new stream of activity and ongoing course development, enhancement, and performance. The role holder acts as the primary point of contact for delivery teams and subject matter experts collaborating in the provision of micro-credentials. The role holds revenue responsibility for micro-credentials and will work with colleagues to drive pipeline growth.

The role also leads on the development of stackable pathways for micro-credentials and works closely with the Registry team and other stakeholders (both internal and external), to ensure the product line meets the university’s regulatory requirements for credit-bearing award programmes.

This role is full-time, permanent and requires hybrid working at South Kensington campus.

The post supports the strategic aims of Imperial College London, Lifelong Learning, Global Learning Portfolio and our stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of lifelong learning that is both innovative and critical to the learner experience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to

Lead on the development and management of micro-credentials courses, working with colleagues to identify which courses to offer within this format and their fit within the wider portfolio of work. Identify market gaps and opportunities through research and analysis in collaboration with Marketing and Business Development teams. Make recommendations for new micro-credentials. Collaborate with subject matter experts and colleagues (product managers, learning designers and delivery team) to design, develop and deliver high-quality micro-credentials and a positive learner experience

What we are looking for:

An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification or professional experience Experience in designing, delivering and developing micro-credential or related products Familiarity and an understanding of credit-bearing framework (FHEQ) and regulations.
